Quantum of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s second largest ship. She’s also one of the newest and most modern ships in their fleet.
This Quantum Class ship is packed with signature activities and diverse dining options. Read on to discover what makes this ship the ultimate cruise vacation for every type of traveler.
Staterooms
On Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas, you can choose from a number of different staterooms. These range from standard interior staterooms to suites and ocean view cabins.
For families, the Ultimate Family Suite is a great option. This suite offers a private hot tub and plenty of space for the entire family to enjoy.
If you want to take in more of the port cities, an ocean view stateroom is a good choice. These rooms offer a great view of the ship and are more spacious than most interior staterooms.
When you’re not in the room, you can relax on your balcony and take in the fresh ocean air. Balcony staterooms are available on almost every ship, but you’ll find that the newest and biggest ships have more than 70% more balconies than older vessels.
Onboard Quantum of the Seas, you can also experience a simulated sky diving simulator called Ripcord by iFLY. This is a new feature for Royal Caribbean and it’s certainly something you won’t want to miss!

You’ll also find Izumi Sushi, a specialty cruise restaurant that offers creative sushi rolls and traditional nigiri. Its menu includes izakaya-style appetizers as well.

Quantum of the Seas also has a couple of casual eateries. Splashaway Cafe is a pool deck cafe that serves meals such as hot dogs and sesame fried chicken, while Fish and Ships is a casual seafood cafe.
In addition, there is a rock wall that you can climb for fun (although it isn’t the best place to go for your arm core strength). It’s not free so be prepared to pay.
