Norwegian Prima is the first in NCL’s new class of ships, designed to meet every expectation and elevate the cruise experience.
Her unique hull design includes rounded fronts, so the ship is shorter in length but taller than other NCL vessels.

The Haven
The Haven on Norwegian Prima is an elevated “ship-within-a-ship” offering a more personalized and upscale experience. Haven guests have access to exclusive areas and amenities including a private sauna and cold room.
Other perks include special in-suite menus, a mini bar and a premium coffee/espresso/cappuccino machine. Guests also receive invitations to cocktail parties held exclusively for The Haven. In addition, guests enjoy the finest linens on their stateroom bed.
Indulge Food Hall
Some old complimentary favorites have found a new home on Norwegian Prima including Q Texas Smokehouse for Southern comfort food and barbecue; Tamara serving classic Indian dishes with multiple vegetarian options; Seaside Rotisserie and Nudls offering noodle dishes.
One new addition is Coco’s ice cream. This extra-charge venue serves gourmet milkshakes and sundaes and is worth it. Dress code is cruise casual.
The Concourse
Norwegian Prima is the first of NCL’s new Prima-class cruise ships. At 142,500 gross tons, it has double guest capacity and more outdoor deck space than many other contemporary ships.
Guests can get their groove on at The Concourse, a 2,000-capacity* music venue and nightclub. The venue hosts a variety of entertainment experiences, from high-adrenaline racers on the three-story Prima Speedway to a Broadway-style show featuring Donna Summer’s hits.
Infinity Beach
Located on an incredible strip of white sand Caribbean beach, this property is the perfect base for exploring all that Barbados has to offer. Bridgetown city centre is a short drive away, as are Grantley Adams International Airport and numerous dining options. Infinity Beach is the story of a scientific adventure, and it does what Jack McDevitt does best: it provides believable characters and well thought-out background both in the human society depicted and in the astronomical details that play a part in the narrative.
Oceanwalk
NCL’s brand-new Norwegian Prima features stateroom options you’ve never seen before, as well as multiple first-at-sea innovations like a three-story transformational theater-nightclub and the world’s fastest slides. The ship sails a variety of itineraries throughout the year, from Alaska to Northern Europe and Iceland.
The inaugural voyage of Norwegian Prima departs September 3 from Southampton, England. She’ll then sail a roundtrip itinerary to Bermuda and the Caribbean before heading home to Galveston, Texas.
Mandara Spa
Awaken your senses at the Mandara Spa, with its ethos encompassing well-being practices from around the world. Experiences include a charcoal sauna at sea, an ice room and experiential showers, plus a hot and cold suite.
Couples can also enjoy a treatment together in the Spa Thermal Suite. This is available for a nominal fee.
The Drop & The Rush

Norwegian Prima takes the glitz, glamour and excitement of cruise entertainment to a new level. From Broadway musicals to buzzworthy original shows, there’s something for everyone onboard.
From disco glam to neon lights, the golden buzzer winner from America’s Got Talent, Light Balance, brings a one-of-a-kind dance show to the main stage. Also featured are interactive gameshows like The Price Is Right and Supermarket Sweep where guests can win real prizes.
The Racetrack
While Norwegian Prima may not be as big as some of the mega-ships that have been sailing the ocean recently, it does offer a range of first-at-sea experiences. The three-level racetrack, a theater-slash-nightclub and the world’s fastest freefall drop dry slide are all sure to lure both long-time cruisers and first-timers.
The Racetrack includes a number of high-energy activities that are best suited for teens and adults. For the ultimate thrill, you can test your skills against other guests on the first three-level racetrack at sea.
The Wave
A smart and popular senior who is the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, The Gordon Grapevine. She sees The Wave for what it is and takes risks to expose it.
A class loser, Robert is beaten down by his peers until The Wave comes along and changes everything. Initially, he praises The Wave for eliminating cliques and makes it his mission to support the movement.
