The Norwegian Encore, which debuted in November, is the fourth Breakaway Plus-class ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet. This ship is a perfect choice for family vacations as it offers activities and entertainment for the whole family. You’ll find swimming pools, a laser tag arena, and restaurants, and there are even studio rooms for you to choose from.
Restaurants
Norwegian Cruise Line offers a variety of dining options onboard their latest ship, Norwegian Encore. The options range from casual and formal dining, to specialty restaurants. Each night, guests can select a new restaurant to dine at.
One of the most popular restaurants onboard is Cagney’s, which features a wide selection of steak and other cuts. Guests can also choose from many seafood dishes. This popular restaurant requires reservations, so it is best to make them in advance.
Another popular dining option is the American Diner, which serves the crispiest burgers and chicken. It also offers a large selection of comfort foods.
Activities for the whole family
The Norwegian Encore has many onboard activities that will keep you busy during your trip. From the new Aqua Racer waterslide to the Speedway, there’s no way you won’t have a great time.
The Norwegian Encore also features a virtual reality maze that offers a number of different experiences. You’ll get to experience the sights and sounds of the ocean in a new way.
There are two water parks on the Norwegian Encore. One is for kids, while the other is for adults. Both parks offer water slides and hot tubs for everyone to enjoy.
You can also try out the new Atlantis-themed laser tag course. It’s an area for kids and adults of all ages to have fun together. This course is inspired by a lost city of Atlantis, complete with a “wet slide” and a galactic battle.
Studio rooms
Norwegian Encore studio rooms offer the perfect combination of comfort and style for the solo traveler. Norwegian Cruise Line’s studio staterooms are located in a separate complex inside the ship. They offer private lounge and shower areas, as well as a full-size bed. The most expensive category of studio cabins, the large balcony cabins, have balconies that measure over a hundred square feet.
Norwegian Cruise Line also offers solo travellers the Studio Lounge, which is a two-story lounge designed to provide a bit of respite from the rigors of daily cruise life. It is a quieter, more intimate space than the larger ship’s jukebox and also provides a food station and a minibar.
Pools
Norwegian Encore offers many pool areas and amenities to its passengers. Guests can enjoy their choice of three pools. One pool is exclusively for adults. The other two are open to both adults and children.
Norwegian Cruise Line also offers many water activities on its ships. These include the Thermal Spa Area, which includes a heated pool and a sauna. There is also a separate spa pool with a hot tub.
Norwegian Cruise Line has also introduced a “Freestyle” cruising experience on its ships. Passengers can take advantage of this on their cruise by booking a variety of upgrades. This includes specialty dining, a casino, entertainment, and many more features.
Onda by Scarpetta
Norwegian Cruise Line and Scarpetta have partnered up to bring you the best of the Italian cuisine on the seas. In this new dining experience, you’ll find a variety of dishes on the menu, from fried calamari to yellowtail crudo. It’s the first of its kind at sea.
Aside from the culinary offerings, Onda also boasts an elegant atmosphere. Located forward of the ship, this is a popular venue. As a result, reservations can be made 120 days in advance. You can even make your reservation through the website if you want.
The name “Onda” is derived from the Italian word for wave. The restaurant’s calacatta gold marble countertops are a nice touch, as are the other materials used in the design.
Laser tag arena
If you are planning a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Plus class ship, the Norwegian Encore, you are in for a treat. This 3,998 passenger ship will feature an open-air laser tag arena, the largest of its kind at sea. The venue will also offer a slew of other activities, including a 350 metre go-kart track and an interactive virtual reality experience.
For the real nerds amongst you, there are more serious pursuits on the itinerary for this mega-ship. The Galaxy Pavilion is a virtual reality experience incorporating cutting-edge technology, virtual reality racing games, mazes, and escape rooms. You can even ride the iFly, a vortex ride that reaches speeds of up to 11 feet over the side of the ship.
