Disney Cruise Ships are a great way to get away for a vacation without a lot of hassle. They offer all kinds of activities for adults and children, as well as a fun way to take a vacation with your friends. You can enjoy the activities on the sports decks, or relax in the Senses Spa.
Senses Spa
Senses Spa and Salon is one of the many onboard spas on Disney Cruise Line ships. It is located on deck 11 and 12. Guests aged 18 and up can enjoy spa services. They offer a variety of treatments such as massages, manicures, pedicures, and hair services. These services are not included in the cruise price, but they are available for purchase.
The Senses Spa & Salon features a hair & nail salon, as well as saunas, comfortable waiting areas, and lockers for clothing and spa items. Guests may also take advantage of four themed showers.
Guests can visit the Senses Spa & Salon during the first day of the cruise, when there is a special open house. After 1:00 PM, guests can make spa reservations. Reservations are required for most of the services, and guests are encouraged to book their appointments before the cruise.
Senses Spa & Salon is one of the most luxurious spas on the sea. With 16,000 square feet of space, there is plenty of room for guests to relax and unwind.
Sports decks
When it comes to Disney cruise ships, there are numerous activities and venues to keep kids occupied and adults entertained. From swimming to on-deck entertainment, there is plenty to do to make your trip a success. Whether you’re a sports fan or not, there are a few things you should know.
Goofy’s Golf is a fun activity for all ages. On the deck, you’ll find a golf course with nine themed holes. Aside from learning how to play the game, you’ll also get a great view of the ocean.
There’s also a basketball and volleyball court on the deck. In addition, there are virtual sports games that you can play as well. The best part? They’re free. You might even see Goofy himself.
While you’re on the deck, don’t miss the shuffleboard and the ping pong table. Alternatively, you can also try out the new AquaDuck water coaster, which is the ship’s first-ever water coaster at sea.
Laundry services
A Disney cruise ship offers laundry services. These are available on several different decks. Depending on your preference, you can choose between self-service or professional cleaning. Some ships also offer a pay-per-item option.
If you have a key to the world card, you can use it to purchase laundry e-tokens. These will be added to your account onboard. You can then use these e-tokens to purchase washing cycles or dryer sheets.
Onboard laundry is charged at per item, but some ships offer free services for guests in the highest status suites. The cost of a bagful of laundry is $35.
Most ships do not provide ironing services. However, you may have access to ironing equipment. Alternatively, you can send items to be pressed.
Professional dry cleaning is an option, but it will cost more. Dry cleaning a 3-piece suit costs around $11, while pants cost $7. You can also press your own clothes. Pressing only will save you 50% off the dry cleaning cost.
Minnie Mouse statue
If you’re looking for a great addition to your home, consider a Minnie Mouse statuette from the Disney Cruise Line’s ship, Fantasy. It’s a gorgeous bronze-colored piece that stands on a base with the cruise line’s logo. The base features a felt non-skid bottom. This beautiful item is in excellent condition and comes with a full-color base card.
Aside from Minnie, other Disney mascots are featured on the ship’s atrium. These include Mickey Mouse, Ariel, and Admiral Donald. Each of these characters has their own mascot statue. Depending on the ship, you might find a playset that includes the characters in various settings. You can also find a pressed coin machine that features Captain Mickey saluting and a coin-tossing game.
Another popular Disney mascot is the Steamboat Willie Mickey. Originally located in the Town Square at Main Street USA in the Disneyland Resort, this statue is now located in the atrium on the ship’s Deck 2. Upon entering the atrium, you will find a circular garden with the famous statue.
