The line currently has five ships in operation: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish. It also owns Castaway Cay, a private island in the Bahamas.
Disney Fantasy
The Disney Fantasy is a classic ship that offers a variety of activities and attractions for kids. This is the perfect ship for a family cruise to the Caribbean!
There are daily character dance parties, trivia, games and more. Plus, the FunnelVision on Deck 11 is a huge screen where you can watch all of your favorite Disney movies!
Guests can also enjoy shows on the ship like Frozen- A Musical Spectacular, which is full of magic and spectacular costumes. Another popular show is Disney Wishes, which is a musical about three best friends who discover they have to stay connected to their inner child!
The Disney Fantasy also has a bunch of water rides and pools. The AquaDuck is one of the most popular, and it sends you through a tube that is lifted high on the top deck of the ship. There is also an AquaLab which has jets, geysers and bubblers for the kids to play in.
Disney Wonder
Disney Wonder sails from a variety of ports across the world, including Alaska and Hawaii. It will also offer Disney Magic at Sea cruises for the first time to Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
The Disney Wonder is a family-friendly ship that offers a wide variety of activities and attractions to keep the entire family happy and entertained throughout your cruise. Musical shows, deck parties, Disney movies on a large screen, and more make this ship a great choice for families.
You can also find a variety of restaurants on the Disney Wonder. These include Triton’s, Tiana’s Place and Animator’s Palate. These dining spots feature French, southern and contemporary cuisines, respectively. They are also a part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining system, which means you’ll rotate to different restaurants for dinner every night of your cruise.
Disney Magic
Disney Cruise Line’s first ship, Disney Magic, launched in 1998 and set a course for a new kind of Disney experience. This modern vessel blends technology and comforts into a family-friendly vacation, while offering larger-than-life thrills and heartwarming magic.
As with the other ships in Disney’s fleet, the Magic has been recently updated to bring a little more Disney flair to its accommodations and amenities. In 2013, the cruise line added new upper-deck water features, redesigned kids clubs, and fresh decor throughout.
For entertainment, the Walt Disney Theater puts on full-scale stage productions. These include Tangled: The Musical; Twice Charmed; and Disney Dreams — an enchanted classic that references classic Disney favorites like The Lion King and Aladdin.
Guests with young children will enjoy the Goofy’s Family Pool, which includes the 3-story Aquadunk body water slide and an interactive splash zone. The kids’ Oceaneer Club and Vibe teen club are also available to help keep them occupied during the day.
Disney Wish
With inventive design, cutting-edge technology and classic storytelling, the Disney Wish seamlessly brings Disney magic to life onboard. The newest addition to the fleet, this ship sails a mix of three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean, with visits to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, on most itineraries.
Disney Wish has staterooms designed for families with ample space, plenty of storage and upscale amenities. Each is overflowing with Disney enchantment, featuring an oceanview window or verandah.
Dining meets storytelling on Disney Wish, where fantastical worlds from beloved stories like Frozen and Star Wars are brought to life in 3 dazzling upscale family restaurants.
