Whether you’re looking to cruise the world, or just want an upscale cruise experience, you’ll find everything you need at Celebrity. Its ships are designed with modern decor, spacious suites and excellent dining choices.
While it doesn’t have the large ships of its rivals, Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises and Norwegian, you’ll still find a lot to do onboard. That includes culinary classes, workshops and cultural enrichment.
Luxury At Sea
Celebrity is a luxury cruise line that offers stylish, contemporary and streamlined luxury at sea. Its modern ships are distinguished by high-end decor, exceptional enrichment programs, superior dining options and outstanding spas.
Guests on these ships may choose from a wide range of stateroom categories, including interior, ocean view and balcony. Most cabins feature large bathrooms with ample storage and a feeling of home.
The line’s most upscale accommodations include the two Iconic Suites on each of its Edge Class ships, which measure more than 2,500 square feet, including outdoor balconies. These deluxe suites come with exclusive bedding, luxurious bath products, a fully stocked pantry and plenty of room to spare.
The ships also offer some of the highest-end onboard restaurants and lounges, with special fares to gourmet specialty eateries, large staterooms with generous storage and butler service for guests in its top accommodation categories. For more privacy, some of the newer ships offer fee-based “Alcove” accommodations with chilled towels, fresh fruit and a pre-loaded iPad.
Discerning Travelers
With its emphasis on stylish decor, gourmet cuisine and warm, attentive service, celebrity cruise line has carved out a niche all its own among discerning travelers. Celebrity ships offer a wide range of voyages, from one- to two-night sampler cruises to 18-night voyages to Hawaii and the South Pacific.
Onboard, Celebrity ships have a high guest-to-staff ratio of nearly 2 to 1. The staff goes the extra mile and anticipates your every need, whether you’re in your stateroom, relaxing by the pool or enjoying an AquaSpa.
In addition to the traditional European service of eras past, Celebrity also offers suites that are reminiscent of home, with such amenities as full breakfast and in-suite lunch and dinner service, complimentary espresso & cappuccino, daily afternoon tea and evening hors d’oeuvres and shoeshine services.
When you return from a port excursion, don’t worry about checking your luggage, as Celebrity’s Luggage Valet service takes care of it all. Onboard, you can use the 24/7 iLounge, an Apple computer lounge and technology center, where you can enjoy classes from Certified Apple Experts and learn tips and tricks for your Apple devices.
High-End Accommodations
Celebrity Cruises has an excellent selection of high-end accommodations. Its suites are luxurious, and offer the same decor, space and extra amenities you would find in a luxury hotel or residence.
On Celebrity ships, cabin categories include Inside, Ocean View, Veranda and Suite. All come with flat-screen TVs, 24-hour room service and sitting areas.
A large majority of the ship’s staterooms feature balconies. Across the fleet, the balcony setups range from 38 to 53 square feet.
There’s also the two-bedroom Royal Suite, which features floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and a private veranda. Its amenities include a king-size bed with exclusive eXhale bedding, a marble master bathroom with a large soaking tub and dual sinks.
Another option is the two-bedroom Royal Penthouse, which boasts a 194-square-foot veranda and features a Reverie Dream Sleep System mattress. Its other amenities include European-style butler service and a full kitchen. Its price tag is comparable to a yacht, but it’s worth considering if you’re looking for a larger space.
Affordability
Affordability is one of the reasons Celebrity Cruises continues to be a popular choice for travelers looking for a luxury cruise experience on a budget. Base fares on many Celebrity cruises start under $100 per person, per day.
The line offers a wide range of cabin choices from relatively affordable (and spacious) inside cabins to elegant and opulent multi-room suites that rival those found on many luxury lines. The most recent additions to the fleet, the aptly named Edge Class ships, feature so-called Iconic Suites that measure more than 2,500 square feet, including outdoor balcony space.
Entertainment on the Celebrity ships is also a good ol’ fashioned affair, from Vegas-style revues to Broadway-style theatrical productions. There are also a few unique venues to take in the sights, including a tropical-garden inspired lounge and dining area on the back of the Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Edge.
