allure of the seas

Allure of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class ships, and it’s among the largest cruise vessels in the world. With all that it offers, it’s no wonder it’s a favorite for travelers of all ages.

A key feature of Allure’s “neighborhood concept” is that it spreads its huge passenger load out among many different spaces for dining, entertainment, and activities. This allows many of the ship’s restaurants, show lounges, and bar spaces to feel surprisingly small and intimate.

Staterooms

Allure of the Seas is a large ship and features a variety of staterooms. You can select from balcony staterooms with balconies over the Aqua Theater, 2nd story loft staterooms and spacious family suites.

Interior staterooms are comfy fittings with either twin or Royal King size beds, TV; telephone; fridge or minibar; private bathroom with shower; vanity area; hair-dryer and 24-hour room service. Some Interior staterooms are also equipped with virtual balconies that stream real-time footage of the ship’s view into your cabin.

Grand Suites offer two twin beds that convert to a Royal King; a full bathroom with a tub; private balcony with seating; dining area and living room with sofa. There are also ten Owners’ Suites, situated on decks 10, 11 and 14.

Dining

The allure of the seas boasts an array of world-class dining options including the Windjammer Buffet. The fan-favorite, complimentary breakfast and lunch buffet serves up pressed paninis, crisp salads, hearty pasta dishes, grilled steaks, and a wide variety of rotating desserts.

For dinner, allure of the seas offers a number of restaurants, each with its own distinct ambience and cuisine. In addition to the main dining room, you can also enjoy specialty eateries serving seafood, Asian and Latin American cuisines.

There are also several bars on the ship, offering a range of choices at all times of day and night from pop quizzes, general knowledge quizes and pre dinner cocktails, there is something for everyone. Drinks packages are available for those who want to save money on drinks and coffee.

Entertainment

Allure of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class ships, which pushes the limits in terms of size and amenities. These massive vessels can hold up to 6,600 passengers and are renowned for their incredible entertainment options.

If you’re looking for action, Allure of the Seas has everything you need, from ice skating to a Broadway musical. The Oasis Class cruise ships also offer diving shows, karaoke and more.

The ship’s ice rink is themed on How to Train Your Dragon and features a “Move it, Move it!” parade through the indoor Royal Promenade, which also hosts kids’ activities and costumed characters.

The ship’s main theater is also home to DreamWorks films in 3D. Other options include the AquaTheater, which offers underwater-themed shows combining aerialists and acrobats.

Activities

Oasis Class ships are known for offering top-notch entertainment, and Allure of the Seas is no exception. The ship is home to a Broadway show, ice-skating, underwater performances and endless live music choices.

Allure of the Seas also offers two surf simulators, a rock-climbing wall and an 82-foot zip line suspended nine decks over the Boardwalk. These activities have less wait time and usually have fewer crowds than other attractions, so it’s a great way to start your day.

You can also learn how to surf by stepping onto one of the FlowRider surf machines onboard. These are located in the back of the ship and can be a fun activity for kids, teens, and adults.

There are a number of different activities onboard Allure of the Seas, so be sure to check out the daily schedule and download the Royal Caribbean app. Many of the signature production shows require reservations, so make them early.
