Air France flights go to destinations around the world. The airline is a member of the SkyTeam alliance. The airline is based at the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and has smaller hubs at Paris-Orly and Lyon airports.
The airline offers a variety of meal options on their flights. Some meals are included in the fare, while others can be purchased separately.
Passengers
Air France passengers either begin their flight at Paris – Charles de Gaulle or Orly or pass through the airline’s primary hubs as part of a larger international journey. The airline is a member of the SkyTeam alliance and its Flying Blue frequent-flyer program has over 18 million members.
Economy class passengers can take one bag on board. Premium economy, business and La Premiere travelers may carry two bags. The maximum dimensions for each bag are 158cm including pockets wheels and handles.
When it comes to inflight comfort, air france flights offer a choice of pillows and blankets. There is a choice of three beverages and a range of snacks. On long flights, each passenger is provided with a Clarins-stocked amenity kit with socks, eye shades and ear plugs. The cabin crew also distributes a menu and serves hot meals and drinks throughout the flight. On some flights, passengers can watch movies or listen to music on their seat’s personal screen.
Cargo
Air France is also a major cargo carrier and, in fact, has become one of the world’s top three airlines in this sector. The airline’s fleet includes several A380 aircraft that carry containers, cars, livestock and other goods.
At the beginning of the 1970s, air freight accounted for 22% of Air France’s activity and a dedicated division was set up to handle this business. The oil crisis, however, dealt a hard blow to this trade and new distributions took shape: all-cargo airlines, integrated cargo express carriers and passenger airlines with freight planes.
Ocean container line CMA CGM, flush with profits from record shipping rates, has expanded its air cargo operations to provide faster delivery service to customers when surface transport is disrupted. CMA CGM Air Cargo has signed a 10-year agreement with Air France-KLM Group to offer its services to the airline’s clients. In a first step, the two companies will jointly market cargo capacity on their fleets of freighters.
Flights

It focuses on passenger and cargo transport, as well as aeronautical maintenance. Air France passengers have the option to check in online up to 30 hours before their flight, as well as print their boarding card. Depending on their ticket class, passengers may also have the ability to change their itinerary or seat selection, as well as pay for extra checked baggage allowance.
During the flight, passengers will be offered a choice of beverages as well as a ready-made meal on long-haul flights. They can also purchase meals a la carte, which allows them to choose a personalised menu for their flight.
Check-in
Air France offers a variety of convenient check-in options, including online and mobile. Online check-in opens 30 hours before departure and allows passengers to select their seat and print their boarding pass from home or office. In addition, the airline also has interactive kiosks at airports for fast and easy check-in.
To check in, simply enter your ticket number or loyalty program number with the flight number and tap on the check-in icon. You can then choose a seat and select additional amenities, such as a wheelchair or dietary requests. The airline will then send the boarding pass to your email.
When you arrive at the airport, you should allow 15-90 minutes for check-in and security screening. You should also make sure to arrive at the gate by your flight’s departure time to ensure that you have enough time to board. You can cancel your check-in online if necessary, but you must do so before the check-in deadline.
